Nashville - Jun '06 Business took me to Nashville, TN in June... I made sure that I also got the chance to see some of the area as well including see the Grand Ole Opry (the longest running live radio show), the General Jackson (an authentic working River/Paddle Boat) and the Dukes of Hazzard Museum.Photos Available @ albums.bofhzone.net |
Florida / Daytona 500 - Feb '06 We went to the Daytona 500 for a 3rd year in a row, but scooted around Florida visiting different places this time. We started our trip in Tampa and visited Busch Gardens, then moved to Orlando and went to SeaWorld and commuted to Plam Coast to visit my grandparents and to Daytona for the race.Photos Available @ albums.bofhzone.net |

St. Augustine - Dec '05 We had stayed in St. Augustine a few times on other trips to Florida, but this time we had the idea to look around St. Augustine and take in the rich culture that it had being the Oldest City in the U.S. They also do something special for the X-mas Season called "Nights of Lights" where the entire historic/downtown portion of the city is decorated in white lights, it's hard to describe, but it is worth a trip to see in person.Photos Available @ albums.bofhzone.net |

Dominican Republic - Apr/May '05 We decided that we wanted to continue on our caribbean trip theme but to go somewhere new, after much debate we settled on the Dominican Republic, specifically La Romana. We had to fly into Punta Cana (on the other side of the island), but the 2hr drive was worth it, the resort was beautiful and it was a relaxing time.Photos Available @ albums.bofhzone.net |

Hawaii - Nov '04 Lori & I went spent Thanksgiving in Hawaii. We visited Honolulu and when we arrived on the islands but spent most of a our time in a condo on the Big Island (the Kona side). Honolulu is very much built up like a big city, the Big Island was very much the opposite, 1 road to get to the other side of the island and an active volcano.Photos Available @ albums.bofhzone.net |

"Down Under" (Australia) - June '04 After 20 hours or so I arrived in Sydney to visit my buddy Woody who had moved their after college to go to work for a fire engineering firm. Conferences can be good or bad, and it doesn't always hinge on the speakers or the content, location is everything they say. | |

| My then, now ex-girlfriend and I decided we needed a break from the day to day grind of college, so we packed up and headed to sunny Daytona Beach, FL for 6 days. We hit some Disney parks and Stef met the grandparents. | For Memorial Day some of Stef's family and I headed up to Montreal to catch an Expos game and partake of the night life. | |
